BBS for tankcleaning operators
Scienta developed a behaviour based safety (BBS) program for the Tank Cleaning Industry. This unique e-learning training programme fully complies with the standard set by Cefic/ECTA. This training has been constructed to fit all tank cleaning companies.
The programme consists of a theoretical part which the participant can study fully on his/her own. The operational supervisor then observes the behaviour of the cleaning station operator during his/her daily practices. By entering the observation results in the training module the e-training will be concluded. The system generates a BBS-certificate for the tank cleaning operator.
The price for this training is € 125,00 excl. VAT per participant in case the subsription is dealt with fully electronically by PayPal. In case of manual subscription the price is € 135,00 excl. VAT per participant.
Free download HACCP risk assessment Tank Cleaning Station
Tank Cleaning Stations that are involved in cleaning of tanks that transport liquid or dry bulk food products, need to comply to HACCP principles. A basic requirement is to carry out a risk evaluation on food safety. Such risk evaluation results in a HACCP plan (hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point). The risk evaluation can be used as evidence to local authorities or customers that food safety measures have been properly identified and are in control. Besides such risk assessments can be used in certification of ISO 22000 or SQAS / EFTCO food assessments.
Scienta offers a free example (excel file) of a HACCP risk assessment regarding a tank cleaning station. This example can be modified to the specific situation of your tank cleaning activities.
After signing in, you can download the excel file and start right away. There is no obligation to participate in any other e-learning course of Scienta. However we would like to point out our Behaviour Based Food Safety training for tank cleaning operators as a starting point for HACCP and food defense training.
